Wheelchair Battery Shop have one aim. To offer you the goods, prices and service you want. We are a small enough company to be able to monitor every order from the moment we receive it to the moment it reaches you, but we are also large enough to negotiate the best prices around and pass them onto our customers. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase couldn't be easier. Just browse our catalogue and add any items that you wish to buy into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for the few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We try to ensure that all items on the website are in stock although inevitably sometimes we do run out of stock of some items. If in the exceptional circumstance that we take your order for an item, but run out of stock prior to your order being dispatched, we will backorder for you.
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa/Visa Delta, Solo/Switch and MasterCard.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery is usually next day if ordered before 3pm, but please allow up to 14 working days if the item is out of stock. Please contact us to find whether your item is in stock.
Cancelling an Order
Under
To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely and send them to us with the invoice within 7 working days of the date that the items were delivered. We would request that you contact us to tell us that you are returning goods before you send them. We may, at our discretion accept goods back outside of these 7 days subject to a 15% restocking fee. You must contact us for this option to be considered.
We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. 24 hours' advance warning is required for returns.
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing). When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. At no point do we see your credit card details. Our credit card processor is Worldpay, who use industry standard SSL encryption to encrypt your details between you and them.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All products carry a minimum of 1 year's warranty against failure and defects under reasonable operating conditions.
Privacy Policy
Wheelchair Battery Shop are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
Remittance Terms
All goods remain the property of Wheelchair Battery Shop until paid for.
Waste Batteries and Accumulators Statement
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Tayna Ltd are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your batteries to our business premises in person; please do not post them.
Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com
Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
